Pay and benefits clearly matter: 64% of job seekers say the desire to earn more money is an important driver of the job search.

But two-thirds of the reasons people actually left jobs in 2021 were due to issues related to their engagement and their overall well-being.

Work culture matters. Well-being matters.

  • 42% of the reasons people are quitting are tied to how they feel about their bosses and organizational cultures.
  • Another 21% boils down to well-being, employees’ feelings about their work-life balance, work schedules, and their ability to work remotely some of the time.
  • Employees who are struggling or suffering in life have over two times the amount of turnover.

Flexibility matters.

Wellbeing matters.

Work-life balance is now LifeWorkPlay Design.

You can create a high-performing team with people engaged in their jobs. When their wellbeing is your top priority, they won’t quit.

Replace Hustle Culture with Human-Centered Culture.

Allow people to choose when they do their best work. Provide a holistic well-being program that will develop their resiliency and mental fitness. Create a culture of trust and sustainable growth and support the whole human, not just the worker. Shorten the workweek.

Create healthy and happy employees and they will give their best. Do not, and they will look for another job.

Hustle Culture, Burnout Culture, Culture of Fear is going away for good.

Embrace a new type of culture — Unhustle Culture.
